The book is very short and mostly grim personal anecdote, although the pictures of the places added some interest.

Impossible to put down. Gut-wrenching. After finishing this book -- I stayed up late to do so -- all I could do was lie awake with my heart pounding for a long time. I caught myself avoiding thinking about what I'd just read. And I am pretty jaded, having worked in reform schools and rape-crisis centers for years. I really liked this book. It is terrible how some people like to cause hell for others. I really, really felt sorry that these boys had to go through this completely horrid event.
