As their outrageous misfortune continues, the Baudelaire orphans are shipped off to a miserable boarding school, where they befriend the two Quagmire triplets and that they have been followed by the dreaded Count Olaf.

  • Violet Baudelaire: Oldest Baudelaire-14 years old, this girl is a definite inventor! She can invent everything... out of everything!!!! And that really comes in handy! Ties her hair up in a ribbon when thinking of an invention
  • Klaus Baudelaire: Middle child-12 years old, this boy is a very smart one. He reads billions of books and remembers them all! He can help out anytime the Baudelaires need information!
  • Sunny Baudelaire: The youngest Baudelaire, a little girl with four very sharp teeth that could do almost anything! She is strong (for a baby), smart, and intelligent!
  • Mr. Poe: Banker, in charge of Baudelaire affairs, not so reliable he never thinks that the Baudelaires are in trouble. He is rather thick and doesn't listen to the Baudelaires.He always coughs into a white handkerchief.
  • Carmelita Spats: Mean plain mean. She is conceited and a bully. Constantly calls the Baudelaires, "cakesniffers."
  • Vice Principal Nero: Horrible violinist mean Priod nothing else. He comes up with awful punishments for silly rules.
  • Count Olaf: Greedy, evil man. He wants the Baudelaire fortune and will follow them anywhere. He uses trickery and disguises to try and get their fortune.
  • Duncan Quagmire: willing to risk his life. He is part of the set of Quagmire triplets.He helped the Baudelairs and was their friend. He is interested in journalism.
  • Isadora Quagmire: The second of the Quagmire triplets. She became friends with the Baudelairs and helped them. She is interested in poetry, especially couplets.
  • Quigley Quagmire: The third of the triplets. Perished in a fire
  • Mr. Remora: Says really boring stories and the class have to remember every detail of them and always eats bananas
  • Mrs. Bass: A school teacher obsessed with the metric system.
  • Coach Gengis: Coach Genghis is the new gym teacher, who is brutal to Violet, Klaus, and Sunny. He introduces them to S.O.R.E., a running test.
