One of the best out of the series. It has unpleasentries such as snapping crabs, strict punishments, dripping fungus, comprehensive exams, violin recitals, S.O.R.E., and the metric system. Can the Baudelaires face it? You'll have to read the book to find out.

I think this story is about three children that are orphans and go to this mean and ugly academy. These poor three children suffer the jobs they have.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY DID THIS!!!!!!!

My first reaction to this story was HORRIBLE, I mean who would send their childeren to Boarding School unless they are helpless who of course Mr. Poe was because he was getting promoted a higher job which he needed to constrate on improving.
It was interesting how the authour decided where, why, with, when, what and how this all would happen. I mean firstly he decided to make the Baulderine childeren new, then have a promblem or plot planned, then the Baunderine childeren would have to survive it, then figure out who it was and then finally the authour had to picturize the whole thing and write with hearts full of love to make the reader feel what he wants the reader to feel. Thsi is really hard sice you have to rrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy make it CLEAR AND STRAIGHT THROUGH.
Here the mis fortune of the Baulderine childeren follows them again! I think that theses Baulderine childeren were very lucky to have a addmission in the Boarding school because the Boarding school was almost full. I really understand how these Bualderine childeren might have felt when all three of them meet the befriend two Quagmire trimplets who happen to be little childeren accompaning Count Olaf because when I was totally new to 1st grade I remembered when people said spread rude rumors about me like I am so ugly and stuff.

3*'s. Annoyingly Entertaining. More annoying than most. Who would leave their kids at a boarding school like this one?
