So far I have read the first 2 in this series and I really like them. The characters are good and interesting. I am getting the other 3 from the library today. Small town Arkansas mystery series.

I like the Sookie Stackhouse and Harper Connelly books better. Unlike the other series, this one doesn't have any mystical influence and it comes out very bland. I've read better mystery writers and better characters. While I usually like Charlaine Harris, I'm just not impressed with Lily Bard

This was a cute story. It was quick read but interesting enough to make me want to keep reading it. The characters weren't as developed as a I'd like but they were, for the most part, still likable. There was a huge leap of logic at the end that I couldn't see but all in all, I'd still finish out the series
