Once again a Walking Dead hardcover has come out and I've finished it all in one sitting and am left only wanting more! The series is still amazingly good and still leaves me wanting to read the next volume right now.

And I'm enjoying that as the story goes on longer and longer it feels like it's less about the zombies and more about the people. Not the specific characters, it was always about that, but the people as in a larger sense of civilization. With this volume the zombies really start to feel like a background thing, like they are just part of the environment.”
“only downside of it is the weight of the darn book when you're trying to read through it. Really enjoy the book and it's different enough from the show that feels like two dystopian places.”

Yes | No“I am such a fan of the TV show, and this compendium did take me awhile to get into, most likely because I am not used to reading comic books or graphic novels. However, once I got the flow of the words and the pictures, i completely enjoyed this! I liked the differences between the book and the tv show. I am definitely looking forward to reading the Compendium Two.”

“I love, love, love this comic series. You never know what it going to happen to who. Keep's you on your toes. He really know's how to make you love or hate a character. ”

Though normally not true, the TV series is actually WAY better than the actual graphic novel is. The plot lines are a little different in the TV series and even several of the characters differ, certainly the love interests differ.”
