  “This book started out okay, just enough to keep me going for the first 100 pages or so. If I hadn’t been so far into the book, I would have quit reading it, but I continued on. I had a hard time getting through the last 100 pages or so. I felt that it did too much telling, and not showing. I didn’t feel a connection to the characters, and didn’t appreciate the way the sex and personal issues were played out. Having Matt spill his guts to a two-year-old with Amy listening behind the door was very tacky. I also couldn’t get over them having sex where they did, with really no regards to the children being in the house, even if they were supposedly asleep I their room. What mother would take a chance like that?
  
  The cover of the book is what caught my eye in the store. I love anything with a cowboy. I even read the first few pages, which immediately drew me in. But unfortunately the book just didn’t deliver what the cover and first few pages gave you a sense it would.
  
  I did however see a lot of potential for the story line itself. I also felt she had several cute lines.
