A must-have book for anyone looking for a contemporary more fitted look to their knits. The designs in this book aren't for everyone. However if you want flattering sweaters that fit well and look more contemporary this book as the information and guidance needed to achieve that. Many variations are possible from the patterns in this book by changing the design elements as well. There is some clever construction to achieve the fitted look as well.

I haven't yet knit anything from this book but all the patterns are compelling. Japel knits the way I do- from the top down without seaming, so it's exciting to read a book where all the patterns are written like this. If you do not like raglans or working in one piece, though, this book would be frustrating.
