At the end of this book she finds out something extrordinary. Don't even try to expect it. You'll still be blown away. This writing is very well put together. In conclusion: This series is a MUST read in any book.”

Abbey goes through the motions of mourning her best friend, but privately, she refuses to believe that Kristen is really gone.
Then she meets Caspian, the gorgeous and mysterious boy who shows up out of nowhere at Kristen's funeral, and keeps reappearing in Abbey's life.
Caspian clearly has secrets of his own, but he's the only person who makes Abbey feel normal again...but also special.
Just when Abbey starts to feel that she might survive all this, she learns a secret that makes her question everything she thought she knew about her best friend.
How could Kristen have kept silent about so much?
And could this secret have led to her death?
As Abbey struggles to understand Kristen's betrayal, she uncovers a frightening truth that nearly unravels her—one that will challenge her emerging love for Caspian, as well as her own sanity.”
“Overall I think this book is worth 4/5 stars. It was a great read and I can't wait for the next installment. People who enjoy things with a surreal edge or who like to read things set in creepy small towns would definitely enjoy this book. It's definitely one for people who enjoyed 'Imaginary girls' by Nova Ren Suma.

“I give it 5/5 with pride.
This book, this story is like no other that I've read before. No words can describe it fairly. The way the story progressed, how Abbey went through all this, the death of her best friend, her love for Caspian, the ghost. It's my first time reading this kind of books and I enjoyed it a lot!
The way the story progressed was different from other reads I've had, different from Twilight and The Vampire Diaries.
I'll never forget this book and I'll be definitely reading more like it =).
Now time to read The Haunted :D.”

“To tell you the truth, the first thing I noticed about this book is that it was double spaced. Sorry, but it's true. I liked how the relationship between Abbey and Caspian was tense, but I felt that it grew. The way that Abbey reacted when she found out what Caspian was was expectable— despite the fact that she didn't want to ever see him again. ”

It was completely obvious what was going on so all of the 'surprises' didn't shock me or even surprise me at all. You could tell what was going to happen way before the author even mentioned it. This book was slow, boring, and WAY too obvious. Do Not Read!!!”

It was okay, but there were so many parts that were so pointless, page fillers. The story took forever to unfold! Abbey was dramatic at times, bordering on hysterical and that was BEFORE she learned what was going on around her. I don't know. I'm left slightly confused and a little disappointed.”
