I was so excited to read one of the Body Movers series. I usually don't jump into a series with the most recent book, but I got a copy of this one really reasonably and I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Not because I didn't think Stephanie could write, she's one of my favorite authors, but because the series is quite a bit reminiscent to Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum novels.

Carlotta is very different from Stephanie, she's more upscale and she can hold down a real job! That doesn't stop her from having men problems. She has at least two, possibly three guys vying for her affections and a younger brother that keeps her on her toes, or as close to being on her toes as she can be. However, like Stephanie, she's always getting involved in a crime that she shouldn't be.

I loved the secondary character's like Carlotta's friend Hannah and Wes' friend Chance and Mouse. They really liven the story up.

As for the ending. It was a bit of a surprise, but a good surprise.

When this book came out, I was under the impression that it was going to be the last in the series, but from the ending as well as Ms Bond's site indicate, there's more to come in the Body Movers Series, and I'm glad of that. There's a lot left to be resolved, with Carlotta especially with her father...and it will be interesting to see if she can decide on a man.

I thought this series was wrapping up, but the last page of this book definitely opened up things for another book in the series. Not as much madcap mischief as some of the previous books in the series, but it was nice to see some of the characters begin to resolve their issues.

Out of the last 3 books, ‘6 Killer Bodies’ was my favourite, although I was a little upset at all the loose ends that were left.

This book begins, right where ‘5 Bodies To Die For’ leaves off with Coop being arrested as The Charmed Killer.

Throughout the book Carlotta uses her detective skills to ‘help’ the APD find out whom the real Charmed Killer is, because she has believed since day one that it isn’t Coop.

But like I stated above, this book left many things hanging. Such as:

What’s up with Hannah, she hasn’t been her usual self.

What’s going to happen with Wesley/Meg/Liz

Where have Carlotta and Wesley’s parents been all this time?

And who is Carlotta going to finally pick? Jack/Peter/Coop (I’m still rooting for Coop)

I don’t want to give away too much about what happens in this book for those of you who haven’t read it yet, but if you are a fan of the series it’s a must read. And if you haven’t read any of the Body Movers series, well what are you waiting for? You won’t be disappointed.

I love these books...silly and mindless reading. Great for the beach.

Hmmm....this story line spanned 3 books but could have been done in 1. They got $21 out of me rather than $7. I liked the story line of Wesley's addiction and his work with Mouse. This ending was just very out of left field though.
