“My all time favorite, the crowning jewel in her 'Slightly Series', Balogh brings Wulfric Bedwyn, heretofore lurking in the background, but influential nonetheless, of the first five books to life and closes the Bedwyn family loop. The heroine, lower gentry, with some ugliness in her past, bursts onto the scene and into Wulfric's life. As typical of Balogh's books there are scenes and phrases I could repeat with little effort if for no other reason than the words are eloquent, however the emotion found in those words are what makes them memorable.
This is passionate, beautifull written book with complex characters and emotions. ”
