Where the Wild Things Are is a story about a little boy Max who is sent to his room one night without dinner after acting out. Before he knows it, his room is being transformed into a far away land where the Wild Things live. Max explores the land with his new friends, the Wild Things as their king. However, he begins to miss his mother and returns to a hot meal waiting in his room at home.
