A beautifully illustrated story of a young caterpilarcaterpillar who is very hungry. He eats through anythiing he can find, including: apples pears, plums, strawberries, oranges, watermelon, sausages, cupcakes, pickles, ice cream cakeand many other things. After eating all this food he gets very sick and makes himself a caccoon.coccoon. He sayedstays in there for about two weeks and then decideddecides to come out. Except this timeWhen he emerges from his cacoon, he wasis a veybeautiful butterfly.butterfly. This book is a classic, and I look forward to sharing it in my classroom. This is an excellent story with vivid illustrations for young readers.
