While on vacation, Eve gets a call from her Captain. The murder of another captain's sixteen year old daughter has hit home. The captain askes Eve to take charge of the case. He knows her reputation for getting justice for those who can't speak for themselves. As the case develops Eve remembers her past and how her father abused her. With her trusted team of fellow cops and her handsome, rich husband Roarke, they set out to find the villain who killed this innocent sixteen year old.

Eve is her true cop mode digs out the info she needs to get this vicious killer, while helping one of her friends plan her wedding.

It all comes to a head when Eve gets the killer and gives the family the justice they need to move on. With Roarke, Peabody, McNab, Baxter, Truheart, Feeny, Mira, Mavis, and Jamie, Eve finds the justice for Deena and her family.
