This book provided some details and faces to the actions that were taking place when the American public was not knowledgable of what was transpiring in Afghanistan, but this information is not crucial to any aspect of life in the US. Page 358 quotes Carl von Clausewitz and his assessment of war, which is a valid explanation, but overall the book does not provide any clearcut means of finishing the war in Afghanistan. It the book's attempt to make a statement on how Aghans should be treated, it actually minimizes without addressing the differences between the differing factions. Overall, the book has some merit but is not a must read.”

There were a lot of SF profiles to try to keep straight.”

This is going to be the BEST BOOK I read all year! I just wish this could be made into a movie. It is an amazing story of a group of men who are special forces who, after 911, go to Afghanistan to fight the Taliban. I don't want to tell you too much because I want you to read this book! You will be proud to be an American after you read this. Mr. Stanton, thank you for putting this story in print--fabulous job! I also thank the men of the special forces in this book for your service! God Bless!”
