One must, even if begrudgingly, tip the cap to Bryan Charles for putting his fictionalized self into Grab on to me Tightly... in the guise of Vim Sweeney: typical awkward teenager desperate for something important. The cap tipping can stop there, though. This book rehashes such tired material, biographical though it may be, that if a reader has read any book previous to this one, the exhausted themes will become immediately apparent. A boy-coming-of-age retread that is the fiction...
