  مسیح در آن دم که به بالای صلیب می­رود تا جان بسپارد، در یک لحظه دستخوش آخرین وسوسه می­شود، و آن اینکه به واقع دچار مصایب نشده و زجر و آزار ندیده است، و به جای اینکه راه دشوار ریاضت را طی کرده و مسیح شده باشد زن گرفته و بچه­ دار شود با زندگی یک انسان ساده و خوشبخت سر می­کند. لیکن این آخرین وسوسه از جلو چشمانش محو می­شود و او را بار دیگر روی صلیب می­یابد و تسکین پیدا می­کند، زیرا می­بیند که همچنان به صلیب کشیده شده، یعنی رسالتش را انجام داده و از دنیا نجات یافته است

  we have a famouse sentence in islam,specially in shia that is:
  "kollo yawmen Ashoora va kollo arzen Karbala"
  "every day is Ashoora and every where is Karbala"
  which is about martyrdem of Imam Hussein
  i think this is the exact meaning of this story too.

    Why dont you read it in English? As good as the Persian translation of the book is, the English one is much better.
