“Henry Green only eats food that is made of chocolate or has chocolate on it. He enjoys eating chocolate cake, cocoa crispy cereal, chocolate cookies and even drinks chocolate milk. Henry does odd things with his chocolate as well, like putting chocolate syrup on his mashed potatoes. One morning Henry breaks out with brown spots all over his body. His parents take him to the hospital where doctors run lots of tests, but they can not figure out how to cure his chocolate fever. Henry is tired of being in the hospital, so he decides to run away. He encounters a truck driver named Mac, who offers him a ride. On their journey home, Mac and Henry encounter some car hijackers that take them because they think there are furs inside. To their dismay, there is just candy bars inside the truck. The candy belongs to a local candy distributor that ultimately gives Henry an answer to his chocolate fever.
