“Henry Green loves chocolate and it would seem that chocolate loves him too. But one day (after years of eating chocolate on EVERYTHING) he breaks out in big, brown, chocolate-smelling spots. Fearful of his illness and the doctors at the hospital he runs away. Luckily he is befriended by a nice truck driver and they have a great adventure before returning Henry safely home.”Asher & Dex wrote this review Friday, September 20, 2013. “So this book is about a boy who ate so much chocolate that he gave himself a disease: Chocolate Fever. As a child, the first thing I thought when I saw that chocolate-freak Henry ate so much chocolate was "What are his parents doing?" (Yes, as a kid I wondered why his parents bought him so much chocolate.) Anyway, he starts breaking out in chocolate dots and the hospital is perplexed at the first known case of CHOCOLATE FEVER, so he freaked out, ran away, and had an adventure with a truck driver which involves a practically unrelated crime. The book was clearly written as a frame story to teach kids about the dangers of overdoing the things you love (to the exclusion of all else), so a lot of the other things that happened were a little shallow, especially when it came to developing the characters. Even as a kid I had trouble swallowing the premise--not just because you can't GET chocolate fever (of course--that's the fun of it), but because I couldn't see parents actually letting their kid eat like that unless they were neglectful and Henry was buying his own food or something.”swankivy wrote this review Tuesday, April 23, 2013. “Henry Green only eats food that is made of chocolate or has chocolate on it. He enjoys eating chocolate cake, cocoa crispy cereal, chocolate cookies and even drinks chocolate milk. Henry does odd things with his chocolate as well, like putting chocolate syrup on his mashed potatoes. One morning Henry breaks out with brown spots all over his body. His parents take him to the hospital where doctors run lots of tests, but they can not figure out how to cure his chocolate fever. Henry is tired of being in the hospital, so he decides to run away. He encounters a truck driver named Mac, who offers him a ride. On their journey home, Mac and Henry encounter some car hijackers that take them because they think there are furs inside. To their dismay, there is just candy bars inside the truck. The candy belongs to a local candy distributor that ultimately gives Henry an answer to his chocolate fever.

This book is almost my favorite because I read this in Korea, but I want to read one more time so I decided to read. I think it is also for child or people who learning English. Its story was interesting, I thought it is fantast or something because there is strange happened in the book. Main character eat too much chocolate so he has disease? It is impossible in real life. I like this book:)”
