“I'm sitting here thinking that I can't disparage Tom Robbins because I really believe he's a brilliant writer. However, I didn't really like this one. It read like Robbins had a couple of different ideas floating around for books, couldn't make any of them into a complete story, so he put them all in one. Nevertheless, brilliant metaphors, great dialog, and bizarre twists and turns. Always entertaining to read one of his books.”
