I read this to my granddaughter who loves ladybugs. But there are Carle books I enjoy reading more.

A lovely tale of manners in a stylistic book. The use of quotations and repetition is excellent. Fritz loved pointing out all the ladybugs and their sizes.

This book would be useful of how to tell time and travel with the younger students from K-3 grades. They can also be used to expressing feelings and also exploring the world when the ladybug travels. This would be very good at showing these skills in a story and that is what students would find fun to read about and learning at the same time. That is why I would use this book in the classroom because it displays some much information that is useful and not just a kid book but a learning book for kids.

This book could be read in a classroom of young children. I think a good time to bring this book out to read would be when learning about behaviors (how to act), and could also be a good when talking about being mad and being nice!
