I read this when I just bought my new bike and was really, really into cycling. I still love to bike but I was so into it in 2007 and between being on my bike and then reading all his books my family thought I was obsessed with Lance Armstrong!

I read this with a student assigned the book for a class. In it Lance Armstrong makes the case that he's grown as a person and professional because of his triumph over cancer. While his overcoming cancer has allowed him to do some worthwhile things (eg. establishing the Live Strong Foundation), the text showed that he was as pompous after cancer as before and that he still hasn't learned how to forge strong relationships with woman.

Highly recommend this book , whether you have been touched my the demon cancer or not. This book focuses on life, priorities, & the power of persistence. Lance's writing is raw, honest, humorous, & flows easily from the eye to the brain & sits in the conscience .

This is one of the few biographies that i have read and it was really great. It teaches a lot of lessons we could use in life such as never giving up. Lance Armstrong is a great role model.
