The first Scarpeta book I read. I love this character, a strong woman that studies bodies of murder victims to help solve the crime. Usually she helps track down serial killers, often finding herself a target of the media and the killers.

I would love to reread her books in order from...

This is classic Scarpetta, complimented by the assistance of her brilliant -- and sometimes frustating risk-taking niece Lucy. Named for the facility founded by eminent forensic anthropoligist William Bass of the University of Tennessee, this is a fascinating glimpse into a real-world facility. Art imitating life. Either way, it's a great read.

I like this series (Scarpetta) but tried her other one and didn't like it at all.

I particularly enjoyed this book having read Bill Bass's memoir on how the real body farm was created.

I've all of Cornwell's books and now think they're getting rather predictable. Getting tired of the characters and am really annoyed by Lucy!

I thought the book would provide some detail on the actual Body Farm, part of the University of Tennessee...forensic medicine. It was a quick read and okay, but the title definitely doesn't fit the book.

Along with the John Sanford Prey series, Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta series is my and my wife's favorite escapism reading.

Is it morbid and creepy that I enjoyed reading about a body farm. Neat idea. :P

A murder mystery with a female pathologist named Kay Scarpetta. The ending was good and the niece even ends up exonerated at the end. This author has written other crime novels and I hope to read another in the future.
