It only means that Tolkien really makes us fell like we are there and actually living the story with the character. Túrin is a very stuborn guy ¬¬ Morgoth sob. ”
“A familiarity with The Silmarillion is not that much needed in reading this book. It has a good dialogue, whcih allows it to stand on its own. Its not really ment for very modern readers either. It takes a subtle handling in reading this: one of Tolkien's longest tragedies. ”
