It really did change my life and has fueled me to change my career and look differently how I contribute to product design and development. This book isn't some subjective creativity exercise about innovation, it is a formal process called Design Thinking developed and refined by IDEO's work on hundreds of products and services. I can't recommend this book enough! Do yourself a favor and buy the printed or audio copy and learn the material--read it twice to be sure you really grasp the process. For a primer, search youtube for the NIghtline Episode: "The Deep Dive".”

The thoughts in the book seem to suit quite well at least to the software industry even though I was thinking that the design industry would be completely different world.”

If so, then this book is for you. Along the way, Tom Kelley describes not just the how of innovation as inspired by the company IDEO, but also the leadership and team member oriented structures that lead to success.”
