Spider Jerusalem's two headed Cat
Lars Von Trier once said a good story should be like a stone in your shoe. I wonder if he's read From Hell? It is a heavy book, uncomfortable to hold, graphic in its content, disturbing in its horror. It's a masterpiece of unpleasantry, wonderfully told and beautifully illustrated. It shocked me while reading and haunted me once I'd finished. The sign of a great story and an even greater graphic novel. The work, research and obsession that has gone into it is stunning. I can't recommend it...
