“Lately I've been really enjoying Elizabeth Bear. I read _Hammered_, and loved it. I ripped through _Scardown_ and am now on _WorldWired_. She writes with a gritty realism and a lack of assumptions about race, gender, orientation, etc that is refreshing, while her books manage to be good stories as well as good science. ”
