All her life, Lorelei Dupree has waited for the day when Justin Wallingford would propose to her. Believing that there was no other man in the world for her, she has set her cap for him until she finally got her wish and she received the most romantic marriage proposal. And as his fiancée, there was nothing she wouldn't do for him even if it meant getting involved in capturing the notorious pirate, Black Jack Rhys.

All across the sea, his name is synonymous with death. It is said that Jack is a ruthless and merciless pirate who kills at the slight provocation. But to those women who have had the pleasure of his company, he's more fondly referred to as the "Master of Seduction". And this so-called master has never suffered the reluctance of any woman he has encountered before... until he meets and abducts the flame-haired Lorelei whose stubbornness matched his own.

When the British army's attempt to trap Jack fails, the irritated pirate subsequently abducts Lorelei. After all, what better way to get back at the man he hates than by holding his fiancée hostage. And there begins a rough sea ride where each casts a wager that results in a hilarious battle of wills.

MASTER OF SEDUCTION is the first book in Kinley MacGregor's Sea Wolves series. While it is a fluffy read with not too much development in the romance area, it manages to be entertaining and provides some humorous dialogues as featured in the witty repartee between the hero and heroine. Even the secondary characters provide much amusement. I do agree that for a "pirate" book, this lacks adventure and mayhem, and the romance area deserved more development. Nevertheless, this was a quick and entertaining read for a lazy afternoon.

The young Lorelei Dupree had everything her heart desires, a loving father, good friends and a lieutenant as fiancé. But when she decided to help her fiancé to catch the famous pirate Black Jack Rhys, lighting strikes. Not only the men at the café falls for her, but she also being kidnapped by the pirate self, knowing that he will use her to get to her future father-in-law.

Jack Rhys, the notorious pirate can’t believe his eyes when he almost falls in the trap, that the engaged pair set for him. But for the revenge at his old enemy, he could not think of a better plan to kidnap his future daughter-in-law and take her with him on his ship.

Soon enough Lorelei realizes that Jack is not the man his reputation says he will be.
Not only is he nice and sincere, but he also puts his crew before his own needs. Only his hatred for her future father-in-law appears to be enormous....what happened between the two of them?
Can she get through to Jack and save him from falling ?

Jack is a man that knows what he wants and takes that. The moment that he meets Lorelei, he knows that he want her in his bed. And when it appeared that she is engaged to the son of his enemy, he can do nothing else then to kidnap her and take her on the journey of her live……adventure and passionate.

Lorelei is a woman with an own will. Early in her life she learned to wind men on her little finger.
But when Jack does not fall for her, she puts everything on everything to learn him a lesson, not knowing that she puts her own heart on the line.

Since I like it delightfully to read pirates storys, this story do not disappoint me.
The story had everything for a pirates story, a lovely attractive (although he is blond), the rebellious woman and an old enemy….
