I love this book. As I read the book, I would dream about living on Tara Road. I loved the idea of switching homes. I also always like how Maeve Binchy mixes in the complicated problems people are dealing with in her books.

to sweetafton: the ending is pretty satisfying. nothing really explosive but there, i said it, satisfying. Ria went back to Tara Road, Mona saved them from the bankruptcy and threw Polly out. Danny stayed with the waif Bernadette and Colm have great designs on Ria, but nothing really definite.

I think we all know a Danny & Ria couple in our lives. Especially Danny the Dreamer. I enjoyed it very much. Loved following the house remodel as money started to come in. A good story about the start of true love, and how you must work to keep it, even if it does not end up all wine and roses.
