A great man once said that time rusts everything, but this is not applicable to the unbeilivably timeless Foundation series. I got a whole new experience every time I read the story, which reveals how much of a genius Asimov was. The style of his writing is very juicy, from which one can really extract the real message that he wants to convey. It is more like a commentary on the social behaviour of the human race as a whole, rather than only a sci-fi book. The classic status that this series has gathered over due time is not undeserved. This one is very, very strongly recommended. ”

In this they attempt to search for roots of humanity, but also much more.
Fifth part of the popularly demanded extension of the original Foundation trilogy, it goes with a space flight that jumpstarts into quite another dimension in concepts and thinking - and explores much more, far far futuristic, even beyond the galaxy wide living of humans and space wars using or fighting mind control that occupy the parts before.
This one explores a search for roots of humanity, the lost original planet Earth, wandering all over the galaxy in search of it and finding it, in the splendour of the original solar system of ours with its unique beauties and its various distinguishing features, and the unique pairing of the Earth and the Moon.
This return to roots is needed to explore what should be the direction of the future of the galaxy and the humanity in the story.”
“The first three books of the foundation series are exemplary and I throughly enjoyed them. I would recommend any one the slightest interest in science to read the first three books i.e. Foundation, Foundation and Empire and Second Foundation. After that the concept becomes a little stale although they are still well written and are a good read although they are not as good as the original three.”
