  “A wonderfully written novel of two sisters and their widowed father and how their lives were forever changed by pictures taken of them by a family friend who went on to become infamous. Explains the reality of how the media/culture/beliefs affect art and our freedom of expression.”

  “Interesting story with some valid things to say about art, and about our perspective of what constitutes art vs. what constitutes pornography, esp. with young girls as the subject. EXTREMELY relevant today. The writing is good but not great, tends to have moments of 'chick lit' especially in relationship passages, but the sections on art and a new way of seeing are well-researched and intelligently presented.”
