Ruth: A 15 year old chief's daughter from the Maasai tribe. The eldest of 12 children. Goes to the school that is more than a half hour walk, help with the cooking at home and also go fetch water from a water hole. She befriends Alexandria and helps her understand the customs of the Maasai.
Renée: Alexandria's contact from 'Child Save'. Has blond hair and speaks the Swahili language very well. She is to evaluate Alexandria's progress in Africa.
