“SPOILERS CONTAINED: This book was ok, but they get the review wrong, the linebacker isn't a nudist, he just tortures Dixie with his nudity. That withstanding, I didn't care for the ending, because it just is an epic fail for Dixie. He doesn't really get the girl, he doesn't blow open any scandal, and he ends up looking like an absolute jackass, like the guys he so purely despises. I did like it up to that point thought, it drew me in and disappointed me, but I do have one other problem with it. Diabetes? Really? That is one shitty way to worm out of letting Dixie win. All in all, nothing new or inventive, but a good book all the same. 3/5”
