“Heart warming story of a woman who comes to terms with herself and discovers what she loves and who she is after a major life chrisis happens. Some of the details of this book on her romantic/sexual escapades made me blush.”

“I really like this book. I like the firey attitude of the main character. She's ballsy and petrified all at the same time. The life of an immagrant isn't an easy one and she has a way of making me understand that it's ok to be down and out but not broken. I would recommend this book.”

“This book is about a Mexican-American woman who enrolls in Culinary School when she is in Paris in order to buy her more time before she faces her family about some choices she has made.

The book was a little different than what I was expecting and took some turns in the last couple chapters that I was a bit disappointed in but the message is something I could relate to. "Live your life the way you see fit, not the way your family has chosen for you."”
