A cute little contemporary romance. I was led to believe it was paranormal by the title and description but it wasn't. It was still a cute read and I found the characters to be charming.

Melody Seabright is rumored to be a local witch in Salem and just the thought of it, makes Logan Kilgarven question asking her to watch his small son when he is called into work on an emergency. When Melody receives the highest recommendation, and Logan has no where else to turn, he asks his stunning downstairs neighbor for a favor. In return, Melody takes him into setting up an interview for her with the television station where Logan works. The one problems is Melody can't cook, and the spot is for a kitchen show. From there the romance, laughs, and jealousy begin.

This was a fun and quick romance novel. I can't really say is was paranormal as Melody do anything “witchy” in the book, it was fun though. I don't know if I was expecting something from this book before reading it, but whatever that was, I found the writing well done and the story enjoyable.

The Kitchen witch pleasantly surpsised me. (And I wonder why I've been putting it in my to read pile for almost three years... maybe because I have been reading fantasy lately). The situations are funny and heart warming at the same time.

You get to deal with a single dad, and his next door neighbor slash baby sitter. Although I must admit, I adore anything with a baby/children in the story, and Shane was a very dear four-year-old re-learning how to live with his father after being left alone by his mother.

I was a little dubious about Melody and Logan's instant attraction, but it was a romance novel. It was supposed to have instant attraction. (I really need to find more books that have more beta males.)

It's set in Salem, (where else to have a Witch production but in Salem?) and it's not paranormal. It's a production stint, more like a cooking show and a Witch idea, but I love looking into production and TV series (I haven't since Sherryl Wood's Angel Mine which I must remember to re-read someday).

    This book was extremely cute.
I loved Logan & Shane. Melody had such a cheery attitude, and it wasn't the kind that normally gets annoying.
Single fathers are amazingly adorable to me.
The only thing that bugged me was the fact that Logan was super judgmental, though it was for a good cause; he wanted his son to have stability.
    Very glad I read this.
Funny, cute & sad at times, but worth it.

I thought the book was alright. There were times I wanted to strangle both the main characters, but the end was good.

This is a fun, light read about Melody Seabright, a young woman desperately in need of a job, who convinces the local TV station to let her host her own cooking show called "The Kitchen Witch" {the story is set in Salem, MA after all!). Never mind that she knows nothing about cooking! Melody is also more than a little distracted by her handsome new neighbor, who also happens to be the producer of her new cooking show. Cute story. :-)
