“I'm beginning to read, "The Goddesses of Kitchen Avenue," by Barbara Samuel.
It appears to be about a group of women, their joys, and difficulties in life. I like this passage:
"...figuring out what to let go and what to keep is just as difficult as moving on."
I'm currently in the process (it's actually a never ending process) of going through things (stuff, stuff, & more stuff) and figuring out what to sell on eBay, what to give away, sell locally on Craig's List, and, of course, what to keep. I always hope the process will get easier, but it never does ~~ especially with my doggie interruptions ~~ and constant need to clean the house, and other domestic chores one must do. I wonder how life would be if all these chores were done by someone else ~~ can you imagine the extra time to read, have coffee with friends, and spend time with our horses? Wow!”
