Ginny’s character development is reasonable without being too sudden, and the vast supporting cast each serve their unique purpose. There are some books that...” see full review » see other reviews » |

This was a crazy adventure and doubt if anyone's parent would let them actually do it but it still was a good book to read. Author really got the flavor of traveling in Europe down pat.”

For me, this book is a nice in-between because it doesn't deal with any issues or themes that would make me think too much; its story is comforting and makes me feel warm and cozy inside. When I first started reading it (all three times actually, even though I knew what was going to happen.) I felt like the book got of to a very depressing start. Then, as the story goes on and with each little blue envelope comes a new thing to do, the story got light and heartwarming. I felt like I could really relate to this book-even though Ginny had some pretty unique things going on. This book was not very unique and it feels very typical of a teen book. I can't complain because I have read it repeatedly but it isn't a great book if you really want to think about what you are reading, its really more of a plot book. I would recommend it to girls my age who want a good beach read.”

So when Giinny gets a letter telling her to go to where her Aunt Peg lived for a while, its strange. But that was Aunt Peg's way. So Ginny goes. It turns out that their are 13 little envelopes. She must do what each of them tell her. She can't open the one after it till she does. Suddenly Ginny's normal and boring life is changed. This book was amazing! It even had a little romance in it for those of you who are looking for it. ”
