Also I encourage readers to read the book (Maybe not buy it...) themselves regardless of my positive or negative review. I also want to add that I did not read the first book in the series titled “A Quick Bite.”...” see full review » see other reviews » |
“AMAZING! Sex 10+”

The male counterpart is Etienne Argeneau. He is a vampire who gets shot at the beginning. The villain is Norman "Pudge" Renberger, who is the one who shoots Etienne. The time is in the present. They are somewhere in the U.S., in the winter. In return for saving him from decapitation by Pudge, Etienne turns Rachel into a vampire to save her life. She meets his family, then goes to his sister's bridal shower. A week or two later, Pudge kidnaps Rachel. Etienne rescues her, as well as Pudge's neighbor and her dog. Afterwards, they get married. I chose this book because I love vampire stories. My favorite character is Rachel because she is a wonderful person, as well as the fact that she is blunt, and does things for herself. I look forward to reading more of Lyndsay's books. That's all, thanks!”

She also has a tendency to dial up some situations to ridiculous levels and while in some novels it'd be fine, juxtaposed against the serious back-drops she creates it tends to take you out of a story rather than draw you in. ”
