Absolutely fabulous work of art. Amazing! There were times when I felt like Robinson was being overly painterly, but by the end I was in awe. I felt like I was on an emotional journey, as if I were a tourist in my own senses. Her ending is particularly strong. I have never been asked, - no, made - to explore the existence of a transient the way this author put me into Sylvie and Ruthie's escape. This goes onto my list of all-time favorites.
