My second favorite piece my first favorite author. This tale is a classic for good reason. It brings to our attention the things we already know. We are reminded that love is the most powerful force in the world.

This is a clasic love story about two people from different worlds that fall in love but their families have been enemies since they can remember. Through a series of events, they plan to run away together and Romeo fakes his death but Juliet believes he's really dead, so she takes her life. When Romeo found out Juliet took her life because she thought he was dead so he took his life also because he couldnt live with out her. Personally, I liked the story except for the end. After I read it, I regreted reading it since it was so sad.

Many of us read this in the 9th grade. Read it again! The edited versions we were fed sucked out all the sexy, funny, beautiful stuff that makes this play so accessible to modern readers.
