Didn’t Like It“It was two stereotypical. I really didn't like it at all. If I could I would give it one and a half stars, but I really don't think it deserves much more.” see full review » see other reviews » |
“It was somewhat slow to get into it. I really did like it.. but still wish there was more!”

Sasha Finnegan has a talent for helping people catch the eye of a secret interest, so much so that she has started herself a little business. Then a Hot New Guy, Derek, comes to school and he wants Sasha to set him up with her hot older sister Maddie. Sasha's not sure about this one, because she thinks that Derek may be perfect for herself, instead. Can't she just be greedy this one time? I love the Romantic Comedies series from Simon and Schuster. This one is s perfect fit with the rest. MS, HS - ADVISABLE. Cindy, Library-Teacher.”

When Sasha hits her neighbor's car, she begs her elderly neighbor to keep it a secret from her parents. She works out a payment plan and then must find a job. Her BFF suggests that she become a matchmaker.
Now she undertakes the hardest job of all, when her sister catches a new student's eye. Can she fix him up with her sister? As she tries to work her magic and spends more time with Derek, she finds out that he's the perfect match - for her.
Can she overcome her feelings and watch her sister and Derek date?
A wicked cute romance with an average girl looking for love mainly for others, but also finding it for herself.

“ I just finished reading the book Miss Match by Wendy Toliver. It is about a girl that has her own match making business everything goes great until the guy she likes wants to get set up with her sister. The main character is Sasha, and at the beginning of the book she is very self conscious of her body and self image, and does snot have a lot of self esteem. Throughout the book this changes and she starts to feel better about herself. What I got out of this book, and after reading it you will understand what I mean by this when I say to not under estimate yourself and always to believe in yourself.
This book is funny and romantic (since it is a romantic comedy), but also has a more serious side to it because Sasha's parents go through a very rough divorce. When her dad moves on to getting re-married quickly, and her mom starts dating again, it brings her self esteem even lower and makes everything shes already dealing with harder on herself.
This book is a quick read, because you get really into it. It's probably not meant for guys to read, more towards girls. But its a very cute and fun book to read and i recommend it to any girl!”
