    Although sometimes a bit pedantic, shrill, and overstated at times, I thought there was plenty of value in this book to give it a 3 out of 5 star rating.

    This discussion that he has with us, his readers, is very well laid out. I loved his terms for "Adults" re-juveniles, kidults, and the fact that the terms are "universal" says volumes. Reading a magazine, listening to the radio, TV, etc will not be the same once you have read B Barbers' disection of marketing, not only goods, but ideas, philosophies, etc. I would say it could be a "must read" for anyone over 18.

    Wow, this guy can really maximize the effectiveness of words. Knows how to say a whole lot with very little.
