Cast of Characters/Important People

  • Mika: A young boy who lives in a house where in order to take a shower, you have to fold up your bed. Mika is a brave young man with special abilities. He is a twin to Ellie. He is one of the best players in Mal Gorman's game.
  • Ellie: Ellie was kidnapped a year before the novel starts. She is Mika's twin. She has special powers. She is also a mutant being born with webbed hands and feet.
  • Mal Gorman: An old man, almost eclipsing 110 years old. He keeps himself alive using pills. He puts together the pod fighting games as well as the Fit Mix in order to find the desired children for his special project. Mika keeps dreaming about Mal, but in Mika's dream Mal has a TV head.
