  “Harlequin romance, recommended on the RT boards. Rescue Dog Trainer Melody Crawford's family was murdered by her military dad, with her being lone survivor. Ex ranger John needs her help to rescue a missing child. He then asks her to assist him with updating maps for emergency preparedness. They fall for each other, but Melody has issues and patient John helps her work through them.
  
  I loved the dogs and this was a very heartwarming story. I would rate the romance mild, but it was a very emotional story. ”
