I loved the way that the three main characters had other characters involved with them and they spin off into their own chapter. I never thought about what could possibly happen next. What I did think was going to happen didn't she definitely kept me guessing the entire book. I am looking forward...

IF IT DON'T HURT IT AIN'T LOVE by Junnita Jackson

Characters In It To Be Hurt: Kat, Dante, Tamia, Vatrya, Kevin, James

So What Is This Story All About: It's the story of Kat and her supporting cast. Kat, an engaged woman has infidelity issues that surface daily, and Dante practically goes for what ever she throws his way. She manipulative and ruthless, but these traits extend to her man, as well as her friends, and it's sad. Tamia is single and living pay check to pay check and doing all that she can too care for her son. If that's not enough, she's thrown another monkey wrench and in comes an unexpected guest. And poor Tamia was crushed by a man and this very man attempts to put her back together, but is it too late?

What's The Up & Down Side: From a nit picking aspect, the opening chapters did not catch my attention. They seemed rush and under developed and the transitions just were not smooth. I did read on, and found that despite the developmental issues it was a dramatic poignant tale.

Final Recommendation: IF IT DON'T HURT IT AIN'T LOVE by Junnita Jackson is a typical drama about three girl friends that have different career issues, man issues, and single mother hood issues. If you love that sort of drama, laced with sex, then this is a book that'll hold your attention.
