Very interesting! The J Curve theory is so simple, it studies relation between stability of nation and openness of a society. The rest of the book tries to relate the theory to various modern day nations. Read it for its historical insight :)

Read relevant sections and picked up the basic premise--very insightful in terms of overall theory as well as on the particular countries explored.

Amazing insight! Makes me think that perhaps the reason why our country is in such a state is that because a revolution of such scale had never occured in our country. So much for EDSA1
