I wasn't sure how this would stand up to the original trilogy, but it does really well. It clearly signals the start of Asimov's convoluted weaving of the larger part of his sf opus into one grand scheme. It's great fun, I enjoyed it a lot.

The continuation of Asimov's foundation series lost a lot of the charm of the original.

I loved all the books in this series, and thought the books beyond the original trilogy were just as interesting.

Sexto Libro de la Saga de la Fundacion de Isaac Asimov. Una serie que nadie que se considere amante de la ciencia ficcion puede dejar de leer.

It took me awhile to get into this, but then I really enjoyed it. Two men are exiled from the homeworld of the First Foundation. One's in search of the Second Foundation, and the other's in search of...well...you'll have to read it to know.

Part four of the Foundation series, this one explores the galaxy in search of the something that seems to guide events in the galaxy, and explores the concept of evolution of consciousnes.

I wasn't quite sure how this was going to go, being the fourth in a series and something random I had picked up from a library sale. But I wanted to give it a try since it's Isaac Asimov and as a fan of reading, I figured I needed to try some of his writing eventually. I was pleasantly surprised. I had a hard time getting into it at first, but eventually enjoyed it, and almost feel like the stuff post Gaia was anticlimactic.

unlike the first three books which are more or less a collection of short stories, this is a whole novel. the usual asimov touch is full in this.and it leaves the mystery about earth intact till the end.
