Eggers has a beautiful power in his writing. These short stories show, as the title says, how we are all hungry; how all of us have another part of us, an animal part, and how that is reflected in our lives. Truly an artist of words.

Didn’t Like It

I was really disappointed in this book - I'm generally a fan of Eggers, but I had to force myself to finish this. It's hard to put my finger on exactly why - the stories felt forced, almost, a little too precious and self-conscious. Anyway. Read his other stuff instead.
