Didn’t Like It “I wanted to like this. Not because the author is supposedly some great writer, I'd never even heard of him before reading this. “The fact that this is Eggers' first novel is painfully obvious... but the plot still displays Eggers' incredible talent. This unique tale with its hilarious dialogue will make you appreciate the way Eggers' mind works... ven if you don't fall in love with this novel. ”

“Dave Eggers rumbles something strange inside of me. When I read this book all I could think is he is the modern day Kerouac.”

But then it all went really bad, like painfully slow kinda bad where I kept checking to see how many pages I had left to read. There wasn't much velocity to this book, was that suppose to be intentionally ironic?”
