“The basic premise is to choose an amount of money you contribute toward paying off debt, then structure your payments so they are in order of which one's will be paid off the soonest (not according to interest rate). When the first debt is paid off, you add that payment amount toward paying off the next debt, and so forth. So as you pay off debts, your payment amounts get bigger, and the debts get paid off faster.”
