One of the worst books I've ever read. It's far too long for the fact that it doesn't say anything. And the philosophical part towards the end, doesn't actually make any sense. The whole social conflict in the book didn't communicate anything either... It is the continuation of the Jesus...

The whole social conflict in the book didn't communicate anything either... It is the continuation of the Jesus Incident, which is a better book by far.

The Lazarus Effect is the third book in the “Destination: Void” series.

The inhabitants of planet Pandora are the descendants of the Ship’s passengers from the previous books. Heavily mutated, the population lives under the sea. While this book was actually an interesting if unpolished read, I can’t imagine it being made into a Hollywood theme. Which actors and actresses would like to play the hideous (in our eyes at least) mutants?

One of the elements from this book that has stayed with me was the idea of judging infants unfit to live due to their genetics. Like all good science fiction, this book can hit uncomfortably close to home.
